OK peeps - need some help here...
There are loads and loads of cracking sky shots in other people galleries (such as *angelreich ) - but all my sky shots seem to be really bland  How can i adjust this? I've tried adjusting contrast etc, but it just makes the rest of the pic too dark etc. Help please! (PS, have access to Photoshop CS and Paint Shop Pro X) |

I would say that skies are largely dependent on the weather. one thing you do though, is "burn" the sky and "dodge" the foreground (those tools should be in the toolbox). or alternatively add a new overlay layer, and then make it a gradient (also in the toolbox) with black and the top through to white at the bottom.
